I will say it’s pretty large space and usually pretty empty but the organizational skills are high and it’s growing slowly, but in a healthy manner. Their staff is knowledgeable. If you want to play different card games and just hang out it’s a cool place. They also have a large stock of pokemon, you can check in their website before going, it’s that accurate.

Duke City Games is the store I wish I could’ve gone to as a kid! Kitty was super helpful and kind in explaining Pokémon to this old guy hoping to re-learn how to play to teach his daughter. Her tone and demeanor made him comfortable and she equipped him both with knowledge and supply for his journey with his daughter. This place is the best trading card store in New Mexico!

Went here for a MTG pre-release event. The staff (owners?) We're great at answering my questions about how the event worked over the phone. Once there, everything was orderly and ran smoothly and professionally. The staff stayed past closing time to allow the tournament matches to finish up. They didn't put pressure on anyone to leave. I felt welcome the whole time. I was very impressed and will be back for future events. 👍

I have never felt more unwelcome in a card shop. I saw they had a card I wanted online so I called to order it. They said to order it online, which I get. Girl on the phone said they had Friday night MTG event that night so I decided to try it. I was excited. When I went in the shop I couldn't figure out how to join the draft. Guy behind the counter just scowled at me when I tried to get his attention and ask for help. Still have no idea how to join the draft they had going. I tried sitting down to organize some cards and maybe meet people. Everyone around me kept giving side eye, no one said hi, and they were not open to playing with a new person. Seems like everyone knew everyone. Not welcoming to new people. Will not return. Gave 2 start instead of 1 because good online selection and the girl behind the counter was nice. She was just to busy to help much.

Kitty is amazing. Her warm welcome and friendly demeanor make every visit special. She takes the time to remember her customers and goes the extra mile to help us find the Pokémon cards we're looking for. Her knowledge of cards is impressive and it’s obvious she is very passionate about cards. Kitty is the reason I love shopping there!

I just recently got into Magic through playing on Arena. Came to check out Duke City and have had a great experience every time! Everyone is really nice and willing to answer questions. I've been to the Ladies Learn to Play Magic night with Kitty and just did a learning session with Trevor. Having a great time learning and looking forward to playing more in the future! Selection for boosters is great!

Really awesome space, I cannot believe the amount of tables for playing, and the staff seem very nice. But I have to say, this is the single worst selection of Magic singles I have ever seen from an established game store. I traded in some cards and had $250 in store credit, and genuinely struggled to actually find desirable cards to purchase with the store credit. New or old cards, their selection is extremely small. Fun place to play, terrible place to buy the cards you actually want.
